Appalachian Trail – George Pearis Cemetery

Clean up of the George Pearis Cemetery, founder of the Town of Pearisburg. It includes hauling dirt, cleaning bricks, planting flowers, and brushing vegetation.

 

Volunteers needed to participate in this National Public Lands Day Event. Refreshments will be provided and information available about this historic renovation project. The event will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at the Pearis Cemetery. Look for the tents in the field off Route 100 and Thomas Drive.
