Easter Egg Hunt:  March 22, 2008 10 am - 12.00 noon

This event is sponsored by Lavinder Real Estate.  Children come and color eggs, enjoy games, snacks and an egg hunt.  The Easter Bunny makes an appearance for pictures.  This event takes place at the Pearisburg Community Center.

Living History Days:   May 24th and 25th, 2008

This event is held on the Historic Andrew Johnston House grounds and includes re-enactments of early 1800 living and Civil War events.

Library Summer Reading Program: This program is designed for children who have completed kindergarten through age twelve.  However, participants may invite younger and older siblings, parents and friends to join us.  These events will be held at the Library this year.  This event is held in June.  For more information please call 921-2556.

Preschool Storytime:  This is held at the library on Wednesdays starting in late June and ending in late July.  For more information please call 921-2556.

Christmas Parade:     December 7, 2008

This parade is sponsored by the Pearisburg Merchant's Association.   Entry is free.  Cash prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries. 

Join us for a great parade filled with fire and rescue vehicle, cars, floats, clowns, horses and more!  Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus ride in the parade and then go to the Pearisburg Community Center immediately following the parade for pictures.  The pictures are sponsored by Lavinder Real Estate.  For information contact Janet Sadler at 921-2955.

Andrew Johnston House Christmas Tour:  2008 date to be announced.
